First season as main sponsors of FC Universitatea Cluj
Superbet and FC Universitatea Cluj have signed the extension of their sponsorship partnership, with our company becoming, for the first time, the main official sponsor of the Transylvanian football club.
The Superbet logo will feature on the front of the FC Universitatea Cluj match shirts, starting with the 2023-2024 season of the SuperLiga.
Superbet and FC Universitatea Cluj have first entered a collaboration in the summer of 2020. The partnership has also emboldened the rise of the team, across three competitional seasons, with the club from the city of Cluj Napoca promoting in the SuperLiga and even qualifying in the Romanian Cup Final, at the end of the 2022-2023 season.
A chapter of football history
At the official signing event, FC Universitatea Cluj was represented by Radu Constantea, club President, while Superbet was represented by Vlastimir Vukadinović, Marketing Director and Andrei Stan, Sponsorships Manager.
Radu Constantea, President of FC Universitatea Cluj, remarks on the growth path of the team throughout the length of the cooperation with Superbet:

FC Universitatea Cluj is the most beloved football team in Transylvania, with a history of over a century, dating back to 1919.
They are an emblematic club and an outstanding example of multiculturalism in sports. In its beginnings the club brought together club figures, coaches, and players of various cultural and ethnic backgrounds, while in modern times it boasted a line-up of players from several continents, all of them making their contribution to a fabulous sports and sentimental heritage.
FC Universitatea Cluj is one of the very few teams that can take pride in participating in the first ever official edition of the Romanian football championship, back in the 1932-1933 season.
