What motivates us
We believe the connection between the business and the local community is just as important as the one between our teams and our customers. This is why we decided to invest in causes that matter the most for the future development of countries that are part of our group's story and we launched the Superbet Foundation in 2019. In just three years of activity, the foundation has improved the lives of thousands of people, supporting dozens of entities in culture and education. As sports is a key pillar for the group's activity, one of the fundamental segments covered by the foundation is high performance in sports, especially chess, which touches the minds, as well as the hearts, of children and youth.

We empower talented young people who are part of our scholarship programmes. In the same time, we focus on mass education, such as the case of our project to implement chess courses in public schools.”
Chess as a country development project
The Superbet Foundation has invested in chess development since its launch in 2019, bringing the world chess elite to Bucharest every year, at the international Grand Chess Tour.
Even more, inspired by Garry Kasparov, the foundation started, in 2022, the pilot project “Chess - from learning in the classroom to storytelling at home - The Gambit". Based on the methodology developed by the Kasparov Chess Foundation, the project is implemented in partnership with the Step-by-Step Association.
The Superbet Foundation makes it possible for the most brilliant minds in the world, such as the great chess player Garry Kasparov, to be a constant presence in Romania and a source of inspiration within the reach of our youth. On one hand, they can get closer to this mind sport that can transform their lives as adults, while the greatest chess players in Romania get the support they need to improve their performance.
Starting with 2022, the Superbet Foundation has also brought the best chess players in the world to Poland and Croatia, organizing, for the first time, the stages of the international Grand Chess Tour in Warsaw and Zagreb.

In the context of the medical crisis triggered by the SARS-CoV-2 virus, the Superbet Foundation launched an extensive campaign - #PariemPeBine - coordinating, in several phases, donations of equipment and materials in value of over € 1.000.000, supporting 145 hospitals in Romania.
Uniting Souls
Since the first days of the war in Ukraine (February 24, 2022), the Foundation and the Superbet Group have been involved in a constant effort to help Ukrainian refugees. Until now, the Foundation has provided over € 450.000 in support to refugees taking shelter in Romania and Poland.
