Hans-Holger Albrecht has a solid track record as CEO, Chairman and Board Member of listed and private companies in a number of regions. He currently also serves as Chairman of the Board for Scout24 Group (online real estate platform), Chairman of the Board and Investor at Storytel (audiobook & e-book streaming services), while also being member of the Board at Veon Ventures (communications & digital services platform). Most recently, Hans-Holger Albrecht was CEO of Deezer, one of the world’s largest music streaming services. Prior to that, he was President and CEO of the international telecom and media group Tigo/Millicom International, operating in more than 15 countries in Latin America and Africa. Hans-Holger also served as President and CEO at Modern Times Group, MTG AB, the leading media company in Scandinavia and East Europe.
Jimmy Maymann initially joined Superbet, in early 2023, as Deputy Chairman of the Board. Having a strong drive for business scalability and a vast experience in international expansion, he took on the role of Co-CEO in 2024, with a clear mission to transform the company from a regional leader of the industry into a global challenger. Jimmy brings extensive board-level leadership experience, combined with a proven track-record as an innovator and entrepreneur, specializing in the creation, development, and transformation of companies across the technology & media sectors, digital services, telecoms, and NGOs. He has played a pivotal role in the creation and growth journeys of more than 10 companies, whilst also being involved in a number of their successful exits - one of the most relevant examples being the online video distribution platform Goviral, which he co-founded and was later sold to AOL in 2011. Jimmy currently chairs the NGO start-up UNLive (curated content global platform), TV2 Denmark (media) and AirHelp Inc. (flight compensation services), while also holds non-executive roles in Telia AB (telecom), Pitzner Group (commercial investments) and The Maternity Foundation (international NGO). Jimmy previously served as Executive VP of AOL’s portfolio of content brands. Prior to this, he was the CEO of The Huffington Post, being responsible for designing and executing on an international expansion strategy that saw the establishment of editions in 15 international markets.
Sacha Dragic is the Founder & Co-CEO of Superbet Group, Romania's newest unicorn. He founded the company in 2008 and led it as CEO until 2019. Prior to Superbet, Sacha was the Executive VP for International at Mozzart Sports Bets, running operations in Romania, Macedonia and Kosovo.
Sacha is also an active investor through Mozaik Investments (private equity), D Craig Holding (real estate, finance and other classic business lines) and D Moonshots (early-stage startup direct investments and LP in other VC).
Andrea Valeri is part of the Executive Board at Superbet Group, while also serving as Chairman of Blackstone Italy and Senior Managing Director.
During his tenure in the Corporate Private Equity & Tactical Opportunities groups, he has led numerous investments including Center Parcs, JOA Group, GEMS Education, Versace, De Nora, Beauparc, Murka, Superbet and ASPI, in addition to several financings for Blackstone Credit for which he also acts as Chief Investment Officer for EMEA & APAC.
Before joining Blackstone in 2005, Andrea was a Vice President at Goldman Sachs, and worked at Bain & Co. Besides Superbet, Andreea currently holds the role of Director on the boards of ASPI, Holding Reti Autostradali, JOA Group, Murka and KP1.
Roland is a member of the Executive Board at Superbet Group and CEO of Mozaik Investments. He has joined the company in 2015, serving as Group CFO and Deputy CEO during this time.
Roland has an extensive experience in private equity and banking in Austria and across the CEE region, with roles such as Managing Partner at HKK Partners, Managing Director at East Fund Management or Head of Department at Investmentbank Austria.
Marieke Bax joined the Board of Superbet Group in November 2023, as Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee. Having a strong international executive background in M&A/business development, as CFO for e-commerce, and as founder of her own business, she currently has a broad portfolio of non-executive Board roles. She has extensive experience in chairing different Board Committees and Boards, with a strong focus on entrepreneurial-led, tech-enabled, high growth and customer-centric pre-IPO, listed or privately-owned companies. As Chair Audit & Risk, Marieke focuses on the implementation of a robust cross-national integrated reporting system, covering both financial and non-financial reporting requirements.
Marieke’s role is essential in shaping the organization’s capacity for balancing profitable international growth with sustainable scalability and compliance.
In terms of other assignments, Marieke currently serves as Chair of the Audit Committee at InPost (a listed e-commerce logistics provider), Chair of the Audit Committee at Mediq (a pan-European innovative provider of health solutions), Board member at Xior (a listed international student housing REIT) and Chair of the Nominations Committee at Frontier Economics (a European economics advisory firm). She is also member of the relevant ESG Committees and part of the leadership development teams at all the aforementioned companies.
Furthermore, Marieke is on the Advisory Board of the Law Faculty of the University of Amsterdam and teaches on several Corporate Governance courses.
Previously, Marieke Bax held roles such as Chair of Climate Transition Capital, Chair Audit Committee at Vion Food, Chair of the Nomination & Remuneration Committee at VastNed, Chair of the Audit & Risk Committee at Euroclear and co-responsible for the innovation practice at KPMG Nederland.
Mark joined the Superbet Board in April 2023, offering his expertise together with a proven track record of driving innovation, growth, and customer satisfaction in deeply technical roles.
He currently serves as the Chief Technical Officer (CTO) of dbt Labs, leading innovation in the modern data stack. Previously, Mark has held roles of CTO at MongoDB, Grab, and a division of News Corp, as well as General Manager at Amazon Web Services and an early member of the Oracle Database and Video Server teams.
Furthermore, Mark has previously served on the boards of MongoDB and Splyt. He has been professionally coding since he was 16 years old, is a named inventor on 15 patents, and has managed teams up to 1.500+ members and owned P&Ls up to 5 billion USD. Mark has a genuine passion for building high-performance cultures, fostering collaboration, and solving complex problems with cutting-edge solutions.
Johnny Hartnett joined the board of Superbet Group in January 2024, after a successful mandate as Chief Executive Officer of the company, between 2019 - 2023. Under Johnny's leadership, Superbet registered remarkable results in terms of market growth, transformation of its proprietary product & technology platforms and the creation of Happening, the Group’s dedicated tech company.
Prior to joining Superbet, Johnny spent 20 years working in the Flutter Group, where he held multiple leadership positions as COO of Sportsbet (Australia), MD of Paddy Power Betfair Online and Flutter International divisions including leading the Group’s M&A endeavors.
Johan joined the Board of Superbet Group in 2022, brining into the organization a strong track record of building great products working for a wide array of companies.
He has started his career as a consultant at McKinsey & Co. and then spent 8 years at Google in various Product Management roles, including in self-driving cars and YouTube. Subsequently, he served as CPO at Kobalt Music, driving the digital transformation of the music industry.
Most recently, Johan has taken on the role of CPO at TomTom, where he is driving a transformation in making the company more product led.
