Romanian operator ramps up employee satisfaction schemes as it ploughs further investment into hybrid workspaces
Superbet has launched its new future working policy ahead of the opening of a new flagship headquarters in Romania. The move comes as the operator ramps up the investment in both its office space and employee wellbeing to create what it calls the “hybrid workplace of the future”.
The operator is set to introduce remote hiring and fully-flexible working as it aims to source the best talent within the industry. Superbet will also offer its employees an open annual leave policy, moving away from the traditional fixed holiday days per year model.
A modern working hub in the heart of Bucharest
As part of this new hybrid working model, Superbet is set to open a new Romanian headquarters in September in the center of Bucharest. The new office will be spread over three floors and cover 10,500 sq m. There will be 520 seats along with meeting rooms, booths, town hall areas and other open-plan workspaces to encourage collaboration.
A mix of local and group functions will run out of the Bucharest hub including tech, finance, HR, commercial and operations. Superbet is set to follow its new Romanian office with a new tech hub in Zagreb, in addition to existing offices in London, Cyprus and Warsaw.
Speaking to EGR, Superbet chief of staff Paul Neagoe said: “We’re a diverse team spread across Europe of different functions, cultures and experiences, and we believe everyone should be empowered and given the flexibility to find the right approach for them to be at their best.”
“Despite seeing the future of work as fully flexible, we also want to ensure that when our people come into the office, it’s a safe, bright, creative environment for them to thrive in. To facilitate this, while many companies have cut down on offices, we’ve invested massively in ours in the last 12 months,” he added.
